Measuring Your Kitchen

How to Measure Your Kitchen

When it comes to designing a kitchen, the best designs start with proper measurements. Here are some tips to accurately measure your space and plan for future upgrades.

If you feel uncertain, one of our kitchen specialists can help alleviate the stress that comes with kitchen remodeling.

Start by drawing the shape of your kitchen - including every wall that will include cabinets.

Be sure to include details such as window openings, obstacles and appliance locations.

It's time to pull out the tape measure! Measure every wall, from edge to edge, including the height of your ceilings. If you're not sure of the exact measurement, you can round up to the nearest inch. Our team will confirm details with you later.

Now measure all the details, such as the width of windows, appliance and any obstacles. Make sure to measure the center of your appliance to the end of the wall to ensure proper placement of your appliances.

To help our design team, take photos of your kitchen and any details before your visit. This will help provide a clearer picture of your space.
